It takes a skilled facilitator to elicit the information needed to frame the assignment, to get a sense for constraints and opportunities. We’ve spent our entire careers learning the craft, making a habit of asking challenging questions, uncovering unseen perceptions, involving clients in both the thinking and the action. And we always bring the users’ voices to the discussion based on what we’ve learned in our research.

Process

When you feel included and engaged, do you do a better job? Do you think teams in which people work well together produce much better results? Have you noticed the best ideas often come from unexpected sources?  Do you want to work at the top of your intelligence and give the same opportunity to others? If YES, we are excited to build this part of the process with you.

Facilitation is an individualized skill set, so it’s somewhat difficult to describe in terms of process. However, we have been studying and applying Liberating Structures, a series of 33 facilitation processes that help groups work together effectively. Liberating Structures used routinely make it possible to build the kind of organization that everybody wants. They are designed to include everyone in shaping next steps, and moving forward in shaping not only the project, but the shared work of the group.
